Concert Party !!!

pal,
first i laughed...because i thought it was hillarious, i actually burst my sides...then i grinned, because i thought it was cheap...and then i reflected...

our president is dishing out national awards to which merit and exclusivity cannot be denied as a vital ingredient for selection as though it was so cheap a thing you could as well just pass by a market stall and pick up one whenever you like!

but seriously speaking, this country which i have been fortuned or mis-fortuned (or both- in which case the word 'and' becomes vital) to be associated with by way of nationality by birth is being played out in comedy by comedians and a concert by a pack of concert party all at once!

For me, for a president who chooses to award a woman he himself appoints as chief justice even before she assumes office, i find that actually; THIS IS NOT FUNNY BUT IT IS !!

was it ever said that people like Idi Amin and Eyadema used to give themselves honours? well i hardly find the difference here!

POINTERS (one or two):
--IGP: our Instpector General of Police has so many questions about cocaine to answer and yet he's been nominated for an award! This man should have been removed from office long ago...and if not for all the other allegations for which he's answered none...at least for having cocaine disappear from the store of the police headquarters under his 'able' watch without trace! what a shame!

--The fact that this list also has a few sons and daugters who are well deserving of their awards or even more (if there was more) cannot and does not take away anything from the fact that this whole dance is shit!!! (i love this word shit). and if i had my way i would ask all of the deserving and self-respecting ones to say: "Thank you mister award-cheapening-president but no thanks".

--A good number of this award winners are either members of the current administration (ministers/hangers-on) or past members! what does that say? thank you for good jobs done? is that all? how so a way of making the awards look foolish!

--IC Quaye, mine o mine! this is a man who opens his mouth and literally insults the Ghanaian public with his shit...this is a man who says if you don't want this Kuffour led government you could go fuck your mama! and here we are, he's being awarded, for what?

--It is also important to recognise that this is not the first time that the president is dishing out state awards! he's done so a number of times already. but the NUMBERS this time around is rocking-241! what a thing?

Pal, I dare say all Ghanaians must wake up and scream this president out of foolishness if need be! This can't pass for any seriousness...at best it is an insult to the intelligence of all well meaning Ghanaians!

one photographic mix

A lot has been happening on my side of the world lately...

Tsatsu & the number 5:
So they nailed (i don't mean he's guilty...the court says so!) one of our sons of the land amids so much fishiness to 5yrs...but who's got the rotten fish...i know time will tell pal. care to READ?.

My country (i'm not a fun of these artificial divisions called countries apart from for sporting reasons like the olympics) has this "thIng" called law; labeled 'causing financial loss to the nation' for which if/when one is 'found guilty' (no! deemed is a better word than 'found' in these circumstances) he/she must be made to do time or whatever so apportioned!

me tink that pal, that tHiNg called law is so vague and with all the powers in this country vested under the bushy or clean-shaven armpit of one man labeled president, it just passes for a gun-powder to aim @ political opponents!

I've heard the opposition leader, brother-man Atta Mills the prof. one say it's NOT a bad law but for it's implementation! i want to ask him...if the law is that good, how come it lends itself to so much crazy manipulation in it's implementation that it leads to the mess for his own party man...paL, that tHinG is sh*t law. period!

ACcOuntabiliTy:
I am one of those who simply believe that people voted into power MUST JUST ACCOUNT to 'the people' (whoever they are...the people...heeeehe!) if to even an absolute degree! I still believe that former Prez. Rawlings still has questions to answer 'the people' for example on his leadership. Period!...period(do i have to repeat? or do i know what it means to say period? heeehe!). because pal...the actions or inactions or these folks affects 'the people'! false?

So if it's true that this man Tsatsu whose name translates into 'house-fly' in Ga (the man is not a Ga man(he's Ewe)--funny how language plays tricks) is guilty then he must account...but he must be treated fairly by the dEmAnDs of the constitution...else let's go back into time and just roast him up without bothering whether he's guilty or innocent!

I've heard people on the side of the ruling NPP say that he is luck to have had his time in court...and he should be grateful 'cos gone are the days when others did not have the opportunity and yet were punished! it's true...but question is: is the constitution based on luck? why this rubbish outburst ouT of GENUINE HURT?

For me the funny thing is that these NPP guys are smelling terribly bad with questions hanging over the president himself as leader and only God knows how man of them would be thrown into jail if this law is maintained on our books when The Time Is Come For Reckoning!

and one other thing irks...they throw the opposition folks into jail and then the president turns round acting some Father Christmas and releases them under some pretending amnesty! and he is thanked for doing so! how so not cheap!

may we wake up to WisdomTime pal!

Travel-n-See-In-Photography:

I'm glad pal, that i'm back home after some niceTime in Rabat, Maroc. I bet the way the media portrays this folks is fake! Forget the religion...i'm no believer in it...none...They are nice people! simple!

well, see below a shot of me trying to take a shot of another folk(not captured)! some very beautiful lady took the shot...actually she caught me unawares! This was at the EMI college where thugs of the IT industry gathered to do knowledge sharing! enjoy!

JUST ANOTHER PLAIN FOOLISHNESS

pAl,
the world i'm pretty sure is still rotating about it's axis while at the same time tracing it's path of revolution about the sun! True!

and i warn you pal, with love, to sift out the substance from my 'nonsense'. True too, that one!

The Ban:
so out of 'the nowhere'...yes the nowhere, man, came this foolish outburst! Rid Ghana of non-iodized salt - Prof Lartey LINK

truth is, i've heard it before...some other folks have come out same or at least in similar fashion with ugly cuts and sawings! and what will all that mean if not just another plain foolishness!

i keep wondering whether some just want the fame that comes with such useless shouts or it's just plain ignoramus to a stupid degree or what? or is it all a deliberate attempt to confuse the folks with legislation to guarantee a selfish inflow of donor funds into some private pockets or some cut of a deal from some big industry tricksters? Pal, i mean what is it?

so there we go...ban it...ban it...ban it...! and then all the people will no more suffer iodine deficiency! period...absolute, right? what happens on the other side of the coin? or we don't have to care? how just so foolish this other plain foolishness! huh!

Foolishness @ The Peak:
so we have come to know pal that iodine is essential a mineral in the diet of man for sustenance! There are too many materials out there to check out so i don't have to bother you with a GIGANTIC recap of some of the SCIENCE thought in primary school.

but why would someone like this prof man who is supposed to have read so well the books decide that the way to go is to call for a ban on the consumption of natural salt? is it a lack of appreciation of the fact that life is not as simple as they want to fix it and for that matter every minute detail of the biological system is important? is it just a case of reading and subsequently reciting what one has read to an audience without applying any logical sense! that is foolishness!

so ' whot '? so he means someone like me should be prepared to go underground to get this 'stuff' (as then salt will soon become a part of the 'stuff' family), because i will tell him straight that i will not bow to any such illogical restriction on my diet.

SALT:
for me Salt is one of those things that give the world charm! taste it and you will have the salty taste, right? or wrong?

the reason why the attempt is being made to carve out salt as incomplete without the addition of some industrially processed iodine is one that intrigues my scrotum into a funny ball still with blessings!

Check Points:
so who says we all need extra iodine? elementary science teaches that iodine is required in only little quantities to keep the body going. so why the noiSe? if i'm well and ok within the limits why must i be forced to consume more when that MAY even result in abuse?

what this prof should be doing is for him to launch a search and help party that would go out there into the woods and see who really needs this extra iodine because of some critical condition so that they are supplied with it. it's obvious that the prof and the likes of him want the easy way out without bothering what the after effects will be! foolish again!

it's not every body who needs this extra iodine...we already get iodine from sea foods also! and the non-iodized salt is enough for some! Some crazy head like mine should shout to this prof man to stop attempting to put us all in one box! At least he has not come to do a test on me!

another vital question to ask is: what is the source of this iodine that they are adding to the salt? organic or inorganic? The whole world has come to suffer so much out of senseless consumption of chemicals as medication...drugs! I like my body to remain as natural in readiness to return to MOTHER EARTH as much as possible...don't force me to do otherwise....stupid? or yes!

Serious Letter:
pal, and i want to warn you again: if this man manages to have his foolish wish translated into my restriction, i would write a VERY SERIOUS LETTER LIKE THIS ONE to the powers that be including my humble self (i have power too which i'm not unaware of) to rethink!

peace!

obama - yes we can

so a black man's son becomes the nominee for a major party-Democratic Party and a very possible president of the USA!

history:
pal, some say this is historic (and it's true to the extent of the books)...yeah...yeah...some say they never saw it coming...huu...huu! well, what do i say? i say no big deal...i saw it coming LINK huh!? you don't understand right? how could a black man like me like obama not be top over the hills for history made? and then i will tell you by repeating 'it's no big deal man!'

so let all those who are suddenly making huge mountains out of this 'history' shut-up. and they claim that it's a pointer to the blacks that the US gives equal opportunities....(knowing well how far better it is compared to most other parts of the world) i still ask: really?

for me all this thing about history will be null if not 'and void' if this history is not translated into a meaningful action towards transforming the equal or at least close to equal distribution of resources in the world for the use of man...if it's not geared towards making the world a better place for all and so on so that we don't have the kinds of bush who would have the guts to even stand before proper thinking human beings! it will all mean nothing if the it's not geared toward achieving a more racially world...where the collour of the skin doesn't matter and is actually made a non-issue... let us make the collour of the skin a non-issue when it comes to rights and responsibilities! i mean i should not even care if some fool calls me a monkey because i'm black...i would always raise the bar above such folly because the stakes are far higher now!

work:
i thank God that obama himself is not making too much out of this 'history' thing like some are doing LINK and i'm happy too that he sounds unifying-that is the spirit...There's a lot of work to be done and i hope that obama quickly realises that...and he sure appears to because if i were him this is exactly what i will be doing LINK

and just before you get me all wrong...i'm not saying it's not important that this is seen as historic but i'm simply saying that let us focus on the essentials and leave out that which doesn't really matter! period.

what is this?
amidst the quest of motives and all, i find this rather funny but isn't this still news: LINK
